"We recently visited St. Thomas and the concierge at our timeshare suggested we go here one night for dinner. It was a bit further than we realized and twice we were misdirected by our navigation system. My husband wanted to turn back, but my persistence paid off and we finally arrived. We were not disappointed. Parking is a bit of a problem as you need to find a place along the roadside, which is narrow. However, we were able to squeeze into a space. From the minute we arrived, I knew we had found a winner. Overlooking Hull Bay, we enjoyed beautiful sunset views while we dined. For starters I had corn and bean cakes and my husband had a caprices salad.For entrees I had chicken marsala with a delicious risotto and broccoli and cauliflower and my husband had chicken cordon bleu and linguine. The whole experience was great, This was one of the best meals we had on the island."

Always a great meal!

Tucked away is a great food and great atmosphere! One of my favorite places to eat on island as everything on the menu is done very well! They serve fresh local caught seafood and have different specials each night you can't beat! Wonderful wine list and great food! One of the best on island!

Great Evening!

We went with another couple on Saturday night when the Jazz band was playing. It was super!!!!! Each of us thought our food was wonderful. The problem is parking but people seem to just park on the side of the road. This is worth the drive/ride from other places on the island.

Great Food & Very Nice Atmosphere

We rented a Villla not far from the Northside Bistro. The 1st night in St. Thomas we ate at Northside Bistro. Don't let the outside fool you, it's a very nice restaurant. And the food is delicious! Jerry & The Boys were playing that night & they were so good. Our 1st night in St. Thomas was perfect. We will be returning to St. Thomas & Northside Bistro.

Dining experience was excellent

" We were told by a local that Northside Bistro was a great place to eat. Trust the locals. The restaurant was very quiet when we first arrived as we eat early. We were seated on the patio overlooking Hull Bay. The scenery couldn't have been nicer. Our waiter, Justin, was attentive and pleasant and the food was simply delicious. When Justin suggested the Chocolate Bomb for dessert, I hesitated. As a fellow chocaholic, he insisted that it was going to be worth my time. He was right. If you love chocolate, don't miss this dessert. We also met the owner who was busy the whole time we dined with setting tables, greeting guests and making sure that the dining experience was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's worth the trip from anywhere on the island."

Atmosphere was so enticing, food aroma so good

" We were entertaining guests for the week and I thought this would be a good place to just get appetizers and listen to the music. Because the atmosphere was so enticing, food aroma so good and dishes coming out of the kitchen having such a great presentation, all 10 of us decided to stay for dinner. This was a great decision as each one of our dishes was excellent, served in a timely manner and cooked as requested. Our waiter "Sweet" was very gracious and handled the 10 of us pretty much with ease (only a couple of goofs). Also, there was a fairly good selection of wines. We ended with a complimentary drink from the manager. And - the real reason for going in was the music, which was also wonderful (fit for the older crowd). Great atmosphere, good food, professional and friendly wait staff, good wine and great relaxing entertainment. What more could you ask for?"

"As much as we enjoyed ourselves the first night, the second night was even better. The grilled lobster was incredibly succulent and flavorful--perfectly cooked. The grilled snapper was so fresh and perfectly cooked that my mouth waters even now. Every appetizer, every entree was loved by all. The ceviche was local and wonderful. And thank you for your recommendation for the wonderful wines. You managed to satisfy 11 demanding persons two nights in a row, an that is a tough feat to accomplish. Not only was this our favorite restaurant on the island, it was one of our favorite dining experiences throughout our international travels. Thanks again for helping our make our family vacation memorable."

It was SOOOO good!

"My husband and I ate at this restaurant for the first time last week. It was SOOOO good. Hubs started with the Mussels and loved them, I had a great salad! For entrees I had the special fish of the day which was today's catch! Snapper with a pineapple salsa and I chose the daily risotto (cream cheese and peas) and the carrots (with brown sugar and cinnamon (I think) on them). Husband had the choppino (?). We both loved loved loved our dishes! Ordered a nice Pinot Grigio which was only 22.00 a bottle! We also took home 2 deserts (choc choc thingy and a cheesecake). The owner is a lovely woman and the piano player and the fire pit really added great ambiance!"

Great dinner, view, atmosphere and staff

"We just ate dinner there on May 19, and had a great meal. I had the grouper and it was excellent. It was nice and quiet with a beautiful view. It was expensive however - our group of 5 had appetizers, entrees, several drinks each and dessert. With tip the meal came close to $300. I would definitely go again. "
